Hannah and Gwen walked into the common room together, each collapsing into a big armchair with a contented sigh.
"I'm sure glad that's all over," Hannah said, rubbing her temples with her hand. "Potions was a disaster, especially for poor Aiden..." She giggled. "He looked positively pale the entire time."

Re: Gwen and Hannah
OOC: Arwen, you mixed up Gwen and Hannah. LOL. I had to edit it.
IC:
"What a good question," Gwen said, but without malice. "To tell you the truth...I'm really not sure. We both woke up really early and went down to breakfast -" she laughed. "It was really early. No one else was awake, I think it was like five in the morning. Anyway, we went down to breakfast and he seemed really moody. So I gave him a hard time about his toast - you know how disgusting it is to watch him eat breakfast - and he seemed to lighten up...and then we went outside and walked around in the rain, and it was really fun. But when we came back in James Potter caught us in the halls to give me my schedule."
Gwen sighed, and paused. "He was just being Potter, you know. Flirting, being terrible." Hannah nodded. "I was embarrased, and grabbed my schedule and ran up here, but I didn't really think it was that much of a big deal until Aiden came tearing in after me bellowing about James Potter and how evil he was. Or something like that."
Re: Gwen and Hannah
OOC: No, I didn't switch the names. I did that on purpose. LOL. But don't change them back. Man, I'd almost forgotten about this thread...*sheepish grin*
IC:
Hannah nodded again. "And you demanded to know what he was so upset about, and he stormed out." She bit her lip. "Right?"

Re: Gwen and Hannah
OOC: Um, ok, weird.
IC:
"Um. Almost." Gwen gave a half-smile. "I asked him why he was so ticked off just because Potter was being immature and obnoxious, and he spouted all this garbage about my being his friend and not Potter's girlfriend, or something equally ridiculous. I don't know - I have no idea what got into you. And then the - my - diary -" she broke off and laughed. "Anyway, yeah."
Re: Gwen and Hannah
Hannah was curious about the diary, but decided not to pry.
"Well, I'm glad you two were able to make up. It would have been awful if that had lasted any longer."
She twisted a strand of her long hair absently, a look almost like envy on her face. "You're very lucky to have a friend like Aiden. He's such a neat boy, and so...so real."

"He's you're friend too," Gwen said. "But you're right - he is definitely unique. Most of the time," she added darkly, and sighed. "I have to stop harping on this. I think I was just so...shocked. It's so totally unlike him, you know?"

Re: Gwen and Hannah
"Don't say that," Gwen wailed. "You're destorying my whole delicate network of trust I've created." She sighed. "But I think you're right. But I think I'm right too - he's changed a lot over the summer."
Skilmer
Skilmer walked into the common room and settled down in a corner with a Herbology book, immediately and completely immersed in it. He was especially curious about a new plant with purple leaves covered with orange polka-dots he'd seen growing beside the school doors, and was anxious to learn about it.
Alvin
Alvin Dinkleburg entered the common room, hidden behind a large stack of books.
Not being exactly physically strong, his knees began to buckle under the wieght, and the next thing he knew, he was tripping over the rug and his books and glasses went scattering across the floor.
Re: Alvin
Skilmer glanced up at the thump created from Alvin's fall. He set his book aside and strode over to help him up. "You all right?" he asked, while reaching over to pick up the glasses.
Re: Alvin
Skilmer watched Alvin pick himself up. He was a little small, but he was only a 3rd year also, anyway...but way too small for the load of books he was carrying. "D'you want help with those?"
Alvin
Alvin lightly nudged the piled of books on the floor with his foot and replied easily, "If you don't mind. I've only got to get them over to that table," he nodded towards a small, circular, table close by.
OCC: Yay, another 3rd year! Gotta go read his app....:-D
Re: Alvin
Skilmer grabbed most of them and headed toward the table. "What are all these about, anyway?" he asked, voice slightly muffled by the books reaching up over his face.
OOC: I'm really proud of his blurbs, even over-enthusiastic, I'm afraid. I keep posting all these little hints: read it, read it, etc...
