Re: Bad Drivers
Favorites among Los Angeles drivers:
1. Use break lights as turn signals, when approaching your off ramp
2. Never use turn signals. . .because if you signal your intent:
3. Someone will speed up, to prevent changing lanes in front of you
4. Don't pull forward into the intersection, in preparation for a left turn, ensuring nobody behind you can make the turn
5. In the rare instance that you do use your turn signal, forget it's flashing and leave it on for miles and miles down the freeway.
6. Expect the traffic to come to a halt and permit you to enter the freeway
Re: Bad Drivers
Don't give drivers in the rotaries a right of way
Drivers not stopping at stop signs or stop lights
Tailgaiting me does not make the person in front of me drive faster!
Put down the damn phone already and pay attention to where u are driving before you sideswipe me, or hit me head on, or just stop all of a sudden from 65 mph./
Re: Bad Drivers
It worries me to see people piled in the back of a pickup truck. I'm worried they'll hit a bump and one of the people will going flying out - perhaps onto my windshield. Usually they are on the way to work. At first I said, well at least they're working. But someone pointed out to me... say it's a lawn business... if one company follows the laws and buys another truck so they can transport their workers legally, how can they compete with another company with the same size staff, that doesn't have the expense of the other truck?
I've only seen anyone pulled for this once. They were in the gore between my turn lane and the lanes going straight. My windows were down so I could hear the policeman trying to explain to them that if someone couldn't come pick up the guys in the back, the driver could go drop off the other passengers and come back for those riding in the back. They were having a hard time understanding it. I know that many countries don't have laws against riding in the back, so it would be confusing to them. But you'd think they'd have to know it in order to get a drivers license here. Shrugs.

Re: Bad Drivers
In Aussie it is now an offence to even have a dog in the back that's not tied in.
Pedestrians have a right to cross the road. In past two months have had 3 people (very careful when crossing roads) I know knocked down and both drivers charged with "neg and dangerous driving" one has had more charges added.
My number one pet hate though is; when I'm walking in the dark with 2 dogs, some drivers hit that high beam and their fog beams and anything else they have and blind you so bad you have to stop - this is illegal in my country where there are street lights. I always think if you are this blind then maybe you should think again about driving in the dark. Often wonder how they would go in teaming rain of heavy fog? I think therefore I am! So if I am do therefore I think? Suppose I think I am someone that I am not, does this person that I think I am therefore think he is who I am? And if so, who does he think he is therefore seeing that I think I am who he is? Gypsy Rover GatheringThe Common Room

On my way to work, I turn left to get on the interstate. All too often, I CAN'T turn on my green arrow turn light, because the road is blocked. Someone going the way I came from got into the interchange when their light was green, but couldn't get out of it when their light turned red. Grrrrr! Books and reading: It's a Must Read
