Chris watched Brandon leave as he sat in his bed. He'd been writing a letter to his family to let them know he'd made it alright and he was almost finished. He signed the letter and then got out of bed and quickly threw on some clothes before walking calmly out the door.

On his way out he saw Mari and Ali coming out through the girl's dorm. He slowly walked over to them.

"Hi Ali, hey Mari. You two headed to breakfast?" He asked.

"ye- ye-yes" Ali finally managed.

"Mind if I walk with you?" Chris said lightly.

"No, course not," Mari said.

So the three of them walked out of the common room with Ali gazing at Chris the whole time. Even after Mari nudged her.
