Carmondy
Carmondy sat beneath a large oak tree by the lake. It sheltered her from the drizzle of rain just enough to enjoy it. She loved rain. Everything about it. The smell, the air, the feel--everything.
Yet today it seemed depressing. It was making her lonely. She stared out into the nearly empty grounds and sighed. It was high time she thought of something to liven things up a bit....
Rosalee stepped out into the sprincling rain. It felt very refreshing. She looked out across the grounds. She didn't see anyone she knew. She was about to turn back inside when she saw a small movement beaneath an oaktree out on the grounds. Who...? then she saw....it was Carmondy. She smiled and started out toward the tree to talk to her friend.

"...As though an invisible hand were writing upon it, words appeared on the smooth surface of the map.
'Mr. Moony presents his compliments to Professor Snape, and beg him to keep his abnormally large nose out of other peoples buisness.'...'Mr. Prongs agrees with Mr. Moony, and would like to add that Professor Snape is an Ugly Git.'...'Mr.Padfoot would like to register his astonishment that an idiot like that ever became a professor.'...'Mr. Wormtail bids Professor Snape good day, and advises him to wash his hair, the slimeball!'
Rosalee
Rose reached the sheltering branches of the oak tree. She walked over and sat next to Carmondy.
"So, what are you doing out here?" she asked bookworm
Carmondy
Carmondy sighed,
"I have no idea. For some reason I'm flat out depressed. And you know me--I'm never depressed. I was just thinking that I needed to do something to make things a bit more..interesting around here."
Rose again
"Well, I'm sure you'll think of somthing, you always do" Rose said. She watched Carmondy. she didn't see very comforted. Rose didn't know what to tell her. Carmondy always had so much more energy that Rose did, it made her life at Hogwarts more exciting, and it made her sad to see her friend so down. bookworm
Carmondy
Carmondy leaned against the trunk of the tree with an expression on her face as if she was thinking hard. Suddenly, her face lit up.
"I can't believe i forgot!"
She immediately began digging through her bag until she pulled out a rather short, leather covered book.
"I've been doing some reading over the summer."
A smile played on her lips.
Carmondy
"Why do you think?" asked Carmondy laughing, "Just look around! Everyone likes someone! Some people like two someone's! Do you know what they'd pay for an effective love potion? There's just one tiny problem..."

Morgan
"You don't have any unicorn water," Morgan said sepulchrally. She laughed as Carmondy and Rose jumped in startlement, and stepped out from behind the tree.
"Am I right?" she asked, sitting cross-legged on the wet grass. She pulled up the hem of her robes, displaying her violently purple socks to their best advantage. "I wondered, when you were pestering Herring for details."
Carmondy
"Yup," she replied grinning broadly, "It's all safely tucked away in my trunk. All except the unicorn water of course. I did some researching and found out that students aren't allowed to purchase any potions without a signed note from a teacher stating that we need it for a project. This, however, will not be a problem."
She once again dug through her bag, this time returning with blank paper, ink and a quil.
"We'll simply fake one!"
Carmondy
"Perfect, Rose! It just needs a bit of modifications...."
she paused and bent over the paper. After a few minutes she sat back up and read aloud:
Potion Supplier of Hogsmeade, I, Professor Herring, potions teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, hereby give Carmondy Cunningham, Rosalee Diamonte, and Morgan Bendigeid, permission to purchase Unicorn Water from your business.
Sincerely.....
"Who wants to fake the signature?"

What?!
Rose hadn't been serious, she had meant it as a complete joke. She wasn't sure what to do, so she simply commented:"I hope they pronounce it Right. It's Di-ah-mon-tay! I hate it when people say it Di-a -mont!
