He flipped to the object-affecting spells section and started reading there.
The Eslimenar Charm
The Eslimenar Charm is a handy spell that will make objects bigger, the exact size is determined by how long you trill the R. Start by pointing your wand at whatever it is you want to jinx.
Aaron paused here and walked over to one of the desks and picked up a small piece of wood from yesterdays lesson, set it on the floor, and picked the book back up.
Next, point your wand up, make a slashing motion that brings your wand back pointing to your target, and say "Eslimenar," pronounced exactly how it looks, Es-lim-en-ar, but trill the R, the longer you trill it the larger the object will grow. For shrinking spell, go to page 7.
Aaron put the book down, stood up, and pointed his wand at the chunk of wood. He raised his hand above his head and brought it down in a slashing motion, stoping when it pointed at the block of wood. "Eslimenar," he said, trilling the R for about 10 seconds. As soon as he started trilling, the block of wood started growing
very fast, and when it stopped growing it was as big as the desks, only solid all the way through. He got a few more blockes of wood and tried it until the room was full of giant blockes of wood, and then opened the book again to look for the shrinking charm.
The Ranemilse Charm
The Ranemilse Charm is the opposite of the Eslimenar Charm and shrinks the object the charm is aimed at, how much it shrinks depends again on how long you trill the R. what you do is, aim your wand at what you are trying to shrink, bring your wand down and then up again more agresively, and say "Ranemilse," pronounced Ran-e-milse. Like the Eslimenar Charm, how much it shrinks depends on how long you trill the R. Unlike the Eslimenar Charm, it hapens suddenly as soon as you finish saying it and not as you trill the R, so it takes more practice to master.
Aaron stood up again and pointed his wand at a block of wood. He lowered his wand, and then brought it up agian, stoping when it pointed at the wood. "Ranemilse," he said, again trilling the R for 10 seconds. As the book had said, instead of it shrinking as he trilled, it happened when he finished it, and so he couldn't watch as it shrank so it was harder to judge when to stop.
After using the rest of the time to figure out how fast things shrank, he returned all of the now normal-sized blocks of wood to the desks and walked out the door.
