Herbology 101
Professor Yup waited in the front of greenhouse two she was sporting a lovely up do that looked as if she had been hanging upside down and it got stuck that way...she hoped that the students would be interested in today's lesson.
As the chattery students began to walk in she overheard a group of students chattering about nothing in particular... their conversation had something to do with toilet seats. Yup wondered if the school was going to get some nice new ones any time soon, she didn't know any other reason for students to be talking about them.
"Welcome to Herbology everybody please quiet down and get yourselves in groups of three"

Aaron looked around, trying to find a partner. He saw the boy who had told him to look for Lily Evans and ask her where he could find Madam Hooch yesterday.
"Hi," Aaron said. "Would you mind being my partner?"

Mari and Ali stood together and looked around. Seeing Chris walk in Ali called him over, and he joined their group.

Lizzie surveyed the bustling room as everyone got into groups. She decided to wait until she found someone else who didn't have a partner, or until the teacher noticed she didn't have one.

"Right," Remus said, "How are we going to do this? What are these teachers thinking, anyway, putting us in groups of three? Don't they realize how difficult it is for us who go in fours?" He grinned to punctuate his statement.

Lily stood, perplexed, unsure of whom to partner with. Alisson had dragged her longtime crush, Chris, to be with the two of them, and - while generally likeable and well-liked - Lily did not see anyone else at the moment who wasn't already grouped up.
She sighed, and decided to wait another moment before finding a wayward first-year who would die of joy to partner the Head Girl.

"is everybody in their trio?" shouted Professor Yup. There was no reply so she decided that that meant yes. "Today we will be working with smigeweed, now everybody listen up er will need complete cooperation between each group member. Begin by having one of your group members trim the leaves that are hanging outside of the pot so that it looks like this." She held up a flour pot that looked like a two foot green column on top of a brown thing. "While someone is busy doing the trimming the other two will be busy gathering the clippings and repairing any accidental tears in the leaves which will be noticed because of an oozing pink or red puss. the tears are repaired by directing your wand at the tear and saying naheala. Now get to work, trimmers are on the table in the back."
