YouKnowEmma Proud Resident of St. Mungo's Posts: 188 (25/1/04 1:49 pm) Reply	！MPORTANT! CLASS PROCEDURES In our first four weeks of ISS, we've covered only ONE day. This is due in part to Sara and I (we've kept extending the classes), but there are a few reasons for this. First of all, teachers have been VERY slow in starting up their classes. In order to be a teacher, you MUST keep a close eye on your class thread and be quick about responses, otherwise the class can't go anywhere. Next, we spent two weeks getting characters into the class (and then into pairs in Potions!). From now on, please refrain from posting a character's arrival. We will just assume that all characters are present - if you need your character to be late or absent, DO post, but otherwise please do NOT have your character enter. Starting on February 2nd, classes will last only 5 real days (instead of like 21 ). Teachers are not only allowed to but encouraged to post the class opening on Sunday night, so that students may begin their class roleplay Monday. Also, teachers MUST keep as close an eye as possible on their classes in order to interact with the students when necessary. If you feel that you don't have enough time to be a teacher, please let Sara and I know (my email is lady_guenever@hotmail.com, Sara's is LDSPrincess924@hotmail.com) privately and we will discuss the matter with you and work out a solution. Anyone roleplaying a teacher should plan on checking their class about once a day. We understand that the past few weeks have been spent getting used to the class routines, and that's a great reason why it's been so long. If there are any questions about the new schedule, feel free to ask in the Questions forum or send Sara or I a private e-mail. Starting on February 2nd, the following four classes will be open: Defense Against the Dark Arts Charms Herbology Transfiguration Open classes will always be noted at the top of the board. Emma
