Jocelynn loved in London all her life. She is the youngest of 6 children, and is quite spoiled because of it. Her family is very well-off, though Jocelynn doesn't really appreciate it;she appreciates hardly anything, and was very surprised when the Sorting Hat put her in Gryffindor and not Slytherin.
Her older sister, Margaret, was head girl in her day and so is always pushing Jocie to do her best and upstand her family honor. Because of this, Jocelynn is almost constantly stressed.

because of her families wealth she's always dressed sharp in the latest fashions,sent to her by Margaret, but she couldn't care less as long as she's comfortable.

Most people would think that Jocelynn is very pretty, but conceited and snobby.

Jocelynn is not afraid to ask questions or voice her opinion, so some would consider her to be rude.She's not, most of the time, though. She's very outgoing and can be very nice when she wants to be.
What are you like day to day?
She is generally stressed from the pressure of her family, but in an overall good mood. If you bother her, she's likely to flare up. But if you are kind to her, she'll return the favor.Jocie is a very interesting person to be around.
What makes you sad? What are you like when you are sad?
When someone doesn't give her their full attention or puts her down, Jocelynn gets depressed and clams up. She won't talk for days.

If a person has a shaky opinion, or a teacher doesn't explain something well enough, Jocelynn blows up, raises her voice, and won't stop talking until she gets her point across.

A good grade or an interesting conversation makes Jocelynn happy.When she is in such a mood,she's chatty and is up for anything with anyone.

Jocelynn rarely gets hyper, she could eat all the Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans (her fav) she wants ans she'd still keep her feet on the ground.

No, most people consider Jocelynn to be conceited intil they get to know her, and even then she is not the nicest person.

She's not a genius and is content with B's and an occasional C or A.
How important is it to you to follow the rules?
Not at all. If Jocelynn disagrees with something a teacher says, she has no problem stomping out of a class.
What makes you different, original, special, unique?
She's very outspoken. She's small for her age, but is actually quite strong and excels in charms.

What are your hobbies or interests? What do you do in your free time?
Jocelynn enjoys a good conversation and playing Quidditch. (sounds like the dating game! lol)

Jocelynn loves people who are like her, opinionated. She can't stand people who don't stand up for themselves, but she also gets along surprisingly well with those who are shy.
What is your favorite color? Is there a color you really hate?
She loves pale green and can't stand yellow, it reminds her of her sister Margaret's hair.
Strengths/Weaknesses
Classes? She excels in Charms and Transfiguration, but when it comes to Herbology she just doesn't see the point.
Talents? She plays the piano well but is embarrassed to admit it, and she's an excellent public speaker and writer.

1.Jocelynn is much too outspoken; her parents often receive owls from her professors telling how she disrupted another class.
2. She is actually really good at spells and charms, but she doesn't apply herself in classes so her teachers think she doesn't try.
3. She is slightly conceited and she's not that nice of a person.

~Train Ride to Hogwarts~
Jocelynn squirmed miserably in her seat. Her parents had given her yet another lecture on how to behave properly in school. She never really did anything wrong, all she did was ask pointed questions. Was that such a crime? She had stomped on the train, close to tears, and hurrired to find an empty compartment.
It was too bad she didn't have any friends to sit with! Melissam Jovin, her best and only friend, was a muggle. They only got to see each other on the holidays. Even then, Jocelynn spent most of the time explaining to Melissa why she wore long black robes and had a trunk full of things like eye of newt. Melissa was convinced that Jocelynn attended a boarding school in Germany, though.Jocelynn just wished she had some wizard/witch friends who were close enough so she wouldn't have to sit by herself on the train!
Jocelynn heaved a sigh as the Hogwarts Express pulled up to the grounds. She looked out the window at the students off the train in the pouring rain and into the carriages pulled by an invisible force."Well...here goes!" Jocelynn muttered as she gathered her belongings and set off to begin her fourth year at Hogwarts.

I really rather like her! One thing though. We have middle-year Gryffindor girls up to our ears...I think she'd be a great Slytherin. We have one lone Slytherin girl who isn't evil (Penny), and I think they would have a great friendship, even if Jocelynn isn't altogether a likeable person.
Emma has yet to read this, but as far as I'm concerned she's great aside from the house.

Lovely, and I won't even gripe about her being pretty. ;-) If you're going to have her be Penny's friend, though, I might make her a little older - Penny's in her seventh year.

Yeah, 6th or 7th year. And we're actually not in any classes right now (Emma: are we?) so she can be about anywhere but the classrooms. ;-) But yes, she can just appear somewhere and we'll all pretend she's been here the whole time.

I love her!! The only thing is if she and Penny had been friends before, Penny would have been with HER all the time instead of Matt...but it will work out fine.
You never know, you might end up liking Slytherin.
