History:

When Joshua was two he was in a car accident with his two parents, he was the only survivor. Fortunately, The Piepers were looking for a young child to adopt. He doesn't remember his real parents, he has always felt that the Piepers had been his real parents. The Piepers adopted other children, as Mrs. Pieper had had ovarian cancer and was unable to have her own. He has special relationships with his whole adopted family, not to say that they don't get into fights, quite the contrary!
At a very young age it became apparent that Josh was a very good artist, and his parents immediately got him into art classes, although he was younger than all the other students. He excelled in almost every medium he tried, but he especially liked painting, particularly with oils. His parents were delighted with his talent and encouraged him as much as they could, besides giving him lessons. At school sometimes his peers would tease him, saying that art was a girl hobby, but he was very defensive of his talent and had no problem with putting those silly kids straight.

Writing Sample
~During the Summer~
Joshua dipped the liner brush into the odorless mineral spirits and preceded to clean it out on the paper towel he had in his hand. He leaned back to see the painting from a distance. It wouldn't seem like much to anybody else, but to him it was special. It showed his room, with the view from his window, his desk with Chordates cage, and various papers scattered next to the cage. But hidden in the picture were several things the you wouldn't see at first glance. The top letter was his letter from Hogwarts, with curly green writing and a red wax seal. There was a picture of his adoptive family on the wall. There wer several other things scattered across the picture that you wouldn't put particular meaning to unless Joshua pointed them out to you. He decided that He would take it to Hogwarts and put it next to his bed. Proud of his work, he carefully lifted the painting by the edges so as not to touch the wet paint, which would not be completely dry for a year if he let if dry like Muggles did.
Oh no! I have to finish this later.....I promise I will ASAP!

Um, part of the reason being you haven't gotten him accepted is that you said you weren't done and would finish it later. And then you never did anything with it.
So decide if you're done or not and say so.

Emma and I have talked, and we decided to go ahead and accept Josh. You did part of the writing sample, and we're not seeing anything wrong with him. Just MAKE SURE that in the future you complete your application before posting so we can avoid the confusion.
