Niella grew up in an entirely magical household of wizard rock stars. Her parents were a retired lead vocalist and drummer from the once incredibly popular band “Cursed”. Her older brother Jake is currently in the punk rock band “Bloody Wicked” (with Carmondy’s brother Hen), and her grandfather is their manager.
Able to play the acoustic guitar since she was five, she did not show any signs of being a witch until she was ten. Her parents often thought she was a squib (like her father), and were delighted when she received her owl from Hogwarts.

Hair: (color, texture, length) Just above her shoulders, layered. Straight, reddish-gold, with blonde streaks she got done over the summer.
Eyes: (color, size, eyelashes, eyebrows) Amber colored, her best feature.
Face: (shape, and anything specific about the size, shape, etc. of the characters nose, forehead, chin/jawline, etc. that you want to mention) She has a slightly round face. Isn’t gorgeous, doesn’t even consider herself pretty, but not necessarily UGLY.

Body Type: (muscular, chubby, scrawny, etc.) skinny, but not scrawny.
How do you dress? Like a rock star ;-) Very punk. Lots of hot pinks, bright purples, and black. LOVES shoes, has a rather impressive collection.
How do you present yourself? (What is the initial reaction of most people on meeting you?) She’s a relatively mellow person, though because of her boldness in the way she dresses, she’s an eye catcher (NOT because she’s attractive, because she isn’t really). Though she seems to have a quiet presence, it’s clear that she’s at no lack for boldness.
Personality
General (give us a few paragraphs on your everyday temperament) She mellow, but friendly. Smiles at everyone to be polite, though she knows she scares away some people.
What are you like day to day? Cheerful. Spends a lot of time up in her dormitory or outside fiddling around on her guitar. Has a horrible habit of tripping, sometimes on nothing.
What makes you sad? What are you like when you are sad? She gets upset when people judge her, or label her “weird”. Usual hangs back, and separates herself from people.
What makes you angry? What are you like when you are angry? Anyone beating up, making fun, or talking about friends behind their back to other people make her angry. She’ll either cast an innocent curse on some random object, or clench her fists so tightly her knuckles turn white. OR, if it’s and argument with her brother, she’ll yell. LOUDLY.
What makes you happy? What are you like when you are happy? Her friends make her happy, as well as family.. Success makes her happy, but so does seeing others learn from their mistakes.
What are you like when you are hyper? Laughing a lot, talking a lot, and actually dancing depending on the situation.
Are you outgoing, shy, somewhere between? Outgoing, but in her own way. She won’t make an effort to be noticed, but has strong opinions about things and isn’t afraid to voice them.
Do you make friends easily? It depends. Usually she’ll gain friends without meaning to. Some types of people steer away from her—but others enjoy her company.
How smart are you? She more so logical than smart, however, she still makes very good grades.
How important is it to you to follow the rules? She doesn’t care. If she sees a good reason to break them, then she’s all for it. But she won’t go off breaking them for dumb reasons (Like Carmondy, lol)
What makes you different, original, special, unique? She’s a vegetarian. Refuses to eat meat because of her love of animals, and owns the muggle record collection of the Beatles.
Likes/Dislikes
What are your hobbies or interests? What do you do in your free time? She obviously likes to play the guitar, hang out with her friends, etc. The normal teenage things.
What kind of people do you like to be around? What are the kinds of people you can't stand? She enjoys many different “breeds” (as she calls them) of people. However, she cannot stand ditz’s, bullies, show-offs, or anyone who’s conceited. And jocks as well—she absolutely hates jocks or preppy idiots.
What is your favorite color? Is there a color you really hate? Black is the ultimate color. Does not like yellow, or pastel pink (hot pink is ok, just not cotton-candy colored)
Strengths/Weaknesses
Classes? She good at most all of them.
Talents? Music (naturally), and making people feel good about themselves, ands arguing.
Please list 3 major faults your character has. (and if one of them is 'too nice' or 'too perfect', YOU HAVE A MARY SUE ON YOUR HANDS!!! *runs of screaming but returns with a large mallet* And then I'd have to use this....*grim expression*) Can be judging, even if she dislikes other people who judge. Has a bad temper, which she tries hard to control, usually without success. Has an extremely hard time admitting she’s wrong.

~During the Summer~
“Niella! Dinner!” Gracie Brooklyn hollered up the stairs. A pounding of footsteps, followed by the sound of something hitting the ground, announced her arrival. Niella appeared in the doorway of the kitchen, rubbing her elbow with a grimace, “I fell down the stairs,” she explained. Her Grandfather laughed,
“Again! Better be careful, kiddo, if you kill yourself that way we’ll have a heck of a hard time explaining it to people.”
Her mother shook her head and grinned, setting the final bowl of green beans on the table next to a heaping dish of mashed potatoes. Niella eyed the plate of chicken disapprovingly,
“Mum, do you have any idea what a horrible life those poor, defenseless chickens had before they’re unmercifully slaughtered?”
Her father sighed, “Every meal…”
“Well it’s true, Dad!” insisted Niella, taking a seat and eying the meat disgustingly, “It’s heartbreaking, really. I think you should ALL go vegetarian.”
Grandfather pretended to choke on his drink, “Are you kidding me? Go vegetarian? NO meat? Exactly how hard did you hit the ground when you fell, sweetie?”
“Besides,” added her dad, “Then the meat industry would go out of business, and thousands of people would be without jobs.”
“That isn’t the point,” replied Niella frankly, “If they’re going to murder innocent animals for consumption, they might as well give them a good life before doing so.”
“Well the Dailey Prophet hasn’t had any news about a chicken strike, so I don’t think they mind,” answered Grandfather, helping himself to a drumstick.
Niella stared at him in disbelief, “Grandfather! Mum, you agree with me don’t you?”
Her mother smiled and replied, “Sure, honey.” And then helped herself to a thigh.

I'm not seeing any problems with her - 'cept the tripping-over-nothing thing reminds me of Tonks, but then Tonks is not the only clumsy person on the planet.
