Which of J. K. Rowling's characters would you like to roleplay? Tonks
Why do you think you are the right person to roleplay them? I'm alot like Tonks, I am really clumsy, and I am pretty good with appearances which is an advantage because she is a Metamorphmagus. I also think I have Tonk's taste--I think spiky pink hair would be so cool.
Writing Sample
Choose one of these topics:
Tonks found an empty cart on the train easily, as her parents dropped her off rather early. Sliding her trunk into the luggage rack, she let Keleios her cat loose, and pulled out a mirror. It was the first day of her third year, and she wanted to look her best. She put on a pained expression, as her short orange hair turned behind-lenght and jet black. She quickly braided a few small braids with beads and ribbions she always carried around, and made her skin tanner, and grew alot taller. She looked Native American, which was always a sensation among her friends. She raised an eyebrow, then shook her head.
Another pained expression, and her hair was blonde, and in a delicate bun. Her skin paled, and her eyebrows became delicate and expressive. She grinned. She was a perfect impression of Gwenyth Paltrow, her favorite actress. She was having a difficult time choosing. She eventually chose one of her normal looks; chin-length chopped hair, black with blue high-lights. With large grey eyes, she felt punkish, the way she liked it.
About twenty minutes later, the train started to fill up. She found her friend Remus Lupin, and invited him and his friends to her cart. They spent quite a bit of money on Cauldron Cakes and Pumpkin Pasties. Tonks and Remus played quite a bit of Exploding Snap, meanwhile burning her hair. She could quite easily fix it, of course, but it didn't make it any less hilarious.
After a while, they got bored with Exploding Snap, and Tonks decided to do her impression jokes. She glanced out the door, and spotted a tall brown-haired girl walking down the corridor. Tonks looked back, grinned, and transformed herself into the girl. Remus, James, Sirius, and Peter stuck their heads out the window to watch as Tonks snuck up behind the girl and scared her with her own reflection image. The girl shrieked and ran. Tonks and the others sat and laughed until it was time to get off the train.

Okay, so I realize I talked to you about this already, and you said it said somewhere in the books that Lupin and Tonks were buddies and Tonks would be a year younger...but I'm SORRY, I just can't see Tonks being in her 30s!!! What if Lupin tutored her in a class or something and they got to know each other that way? Ooh, you know, maybe you could make her friends with Morgan - they could encourage each other in their insanity. Bwhahaha.
I dunno, what do you think Cindy? About the whole application, and the year thing, and Morgan.

I share your opinion. I think Tonks would be at LEAST two years younger than Remus. She'd make Morgan a great friend, too.
The one thing I would caution would be the shapechanging. Metamorphmagus is I think one of the powers that could most easily Mary-Sue-if-y a person! Besides, the teachers wouldn't be so hot on Tonks changing her appearance all the time. If you do play her, make sure that she's balanced so that the fact that she has accessibility to endless good looks is countered by more negative traits.

Yeay, thanks. BTW~ Lupin is a seveth year. Tonks is a third year. That is more than two years younger. Thanks anywho.
