The Common Room
Aaron opened the door to the common room and searched for Lilly. At last he saw her studying, and walked over to her. "Excuse me," he said. "Do you know where I could find Madam Hooch?"

"Madam Hooch? What for?" Lily's face registered blank surprise.
"A broom," the first year said.
"Oh. Er - I believe she's in her office," Lily said after a moment's though. "Third floor, right-wing corridor, ninth door on the right. What's your name?"

"Aaron Peter Callahan," He said. He didn't know why, but he always used his middle name too whenever he was supposed to introduce himself.

Ginger cautiously peeked into the common room. It had people--way too many for her situation. Inwardly, she groaned, but forced her stubborn legs to haul herself up into the common room anyway.
"Um," she started, back to the wall so that no one could see too much, "Lily, could I speak with you? Privately?"

Lily looked up, her face registering shock at the sight of Ginger clutching a squirming, growling toilet seat beneath a bright red face.
"Is that - of course," Lily said, composing herself. She stood and waved at the dormitories. "Come on."
Ginger followed Lily quickly to the girls' dormitory. Lily rapped once on the door and then pushed it open in the next second. There was only one person inside the dormitory - Marti.
"Marti," Lily said in an undertone, "Would you very much mind giving us a private moment? Just for a bit."
Marti looked up in surprise, but shrugged and took her textbook into the Common Room. "Thanks," Lily called gratefully after her.
"Now," she said, turning to Ginger and shutting the door, "What's the problem? And is that Potter's toilet seat you're holding?"
