"I guess I'm signing it too then? No problem!"
She quickly scribbled a signature at the bottom of the fake permission slip.
"It's perfect! Nice work, ladies."

"Only one problem," Morgan said. "You have no idea what Herring's signature looks like. And I wouldn't put all three names on it," she added. "They'll know we're up to something. I have a better idea."

"Planning to forge my signature on paper, are we girls?" Professor Herring stepped out of the shadows.
At the shocked look on their faces, Herring burst out laughing. "It's me you guys!" Herring's face changed into Tonks' round one, blue hair swinging into her face. Tonks was practically on the ground laughing. After a few minutes, she caught her breath. "Do you realize I could accompany you to Hogsmeade and get you that potion?"

Carmondy jumped to her feet, "Tonks!" she cried, "YOU GENIUS!" she ran over to her and gave her a hug, "You're brilliant! And don't ever do that again, please. You nearly killed me in shock."

"But we'd have to steal a paper with Herring's signature on it first," Morgan said, "Because even if Tonks-as-Herring was with us they'd still want to see the paper."

Carmondy bit her bottom lip (which she did every time she was thinking) and said thoughtfully,
"Well then....I suppose the only way to get that would be to either steal something w/ her signature on it from her office--or...." she smiled and Tonks, "You could pretend that you're McGonagual and ask for her signature concerning some made up 'new professor' document...catch my drift?"

That is precisely the sort of thing teachers always seem to find out the moment they arrive. And Herring seems rather quick - if she finds out that Tonks is after her signature, she'll start to suspect something."
"Alright," said Carmondy in a business-like tone, pacing back in forth,
"How exactly are we going to go about doing this? And where IS Aralyn? She's missing everything!"

IC: Rose didn't say anything. They were talking about more and more rule breaking. She decided that Gryffindors definately broke more rules than all the other houses put together.

Once again, Carmondy bit her bottom lip. However, this time she did not announce her brainstorm to the rest of the group. A mischievous smile played on her lips.
"I have another idea," she said simply, and glanced at her watch,
"Tootles!" she waved goodbye and went running of back toward the castle calling after her,
"Lunch detention, remember?"

"Yeah, very. I didn't have breakfast. And Aralyn is in the library, steaming about Narcissa. That girl has no tact. I hate her, I am very embarrased that she is my aunt, though we are only a few years apart. Narcissa doesn't like Aralyn, she made a smart-aleck comment about 'too much sun must've gotten to her head'... Aralyn is hot-tempered, but I've never seen her this mad...we better hope that Sirius and James don't find out, because you know those two and revenge as far as Slytherin's go. Narcissa is just out to get Malfoy, and I don't see why. He is not the handsomest guy in the universe." Tonks chatted spitefully. She laughed suddenly. "Carmody has got to be the most amusing person I know."
