"Yes, why not?" Trent said walking towards them. He had been listening in on their conversation for a while from a far, and had finally found the perfect time to cut in. "I mean, you are so good at coming up with lame excuses for things when they aren't necessary....this wouldn't be at all hard for you. Not that I really would care overly much if you left," he added.

Rosalee
Rose frowned at him. "Exactly." she said coldly. "Since you don't care -" Or just want her gone so she doesn't cause you any grief- she thought, but didn't say it, of course. " - Why don't you head off to your own table and leave us alone." There were two kinds of people Rose could talk with - people she knew that she liked, and People she knew that she Really didn't like. If you were somewhere in between, she didn't know how to deal with you. Fortunately (or unfortunately--?) she knew exactly on which side of the line Trent stood.
well
"Maybe I will when I feel like it," Trent said coldly to Rose. "Who are you anyways? Just Carmondy's little extra tag-along? Aren't you that Diamonte girl," he asked emphasizing the improper pronunciation of her name. "Anyway, the only reason I said something was because I figured Carmondy might want to use her outstanding wit," he said with heavy sarcasm, "for some good. Instead of just to look stupid."
Carmondy
Carmondy fixed Trent with a cool smile, "A) Don't mess with my friends. B) Mind your own business. C) The only person who's looking or sounding stupid around here is you, and D) Shut-up and go away before you find yourself unconscious on the floor, unable to remember you name." She said all of this extremely quickly without taking a breath in between, and finished with an incredibly dangerous looking glare. Trent was pushing her WAY off the edge. She had enough to deal with without having to deal with a stuck-up Slytherin boy, who was probably half troll.
Trent
"What gives you the right to think that you can talk to ME that way? Honestly, why don't you just go shove your head in another toilet, or wait, are you still sticking with that Peeve's story of yours?" Trent smiled evily. "Stupid girl," he spat. "You do not want to ever mess with me! Of course, it's exactly what I'd expect from a dumb blonde such as yourself. No respect for those who are most obviously your superiors. Tred carefully Cunningham..." Trent sneered. "or you might find yourself in some," he paused for effect, "bad situations."

Rose's Reply
Rose's cheeks were turning red with anger and indignance, her brother always told her she looked pretty when she was angry, which she didn't appreciate.
"Why don't you take your own advice?" she said scathingly. "I just hope the toilet doesn't get sick, or you would be in a very...........slippery situation."
Carmondy/hehehe
Carmondy folded her arms, "If your so much better than us, then why deign yourself to talking to us? Especially if your going to puke. We're eating. Now for the millionth time--since it doesn't seem to be getting through that thick skull of yours--GET LOST."
"Are we having problems?" asked a cool voice, Narcissa appeared from behind Trent, and gave him a questioning look, "What are you chatting with THEM about, Trenton? You might catch the extremely contagious disease of stupidity, I'd stay at least three feet back," she took a step backwards with a sneer.
Trent
"Oh the usual stuff," Trent said to Narcissa. "Their stupidity, my superiority." He then turned back towards Carmondy. "Don't think I'm leaving because of you...I could stand here all day humiliating you if I wanted, but alas, I'd rather hang out with people more my level of intelligence. You know, people with more than empty space in their heads." He smirked to himself, turned, and walked over to the Slytherin table.

"Oh ,we know that isn't Carmondy you're scared of." Rose called after Trent. "You're afraid that we really can do somthing to you...... but you're puny little brain just can't handle that." With an angry sigh, Rose stood up with her bag an started towards the door. "Sorry Carmondy," she said. "But I seem to have lost my appetite..........I'll just head to our first class." then, with a haughtily angry glare at Trents retreating back, she left the Great hall.
