Re: Alvin
Skilmer set the books down on the table and turned to face Alvin with a raised eyebrow and the faintest trace of a smile. "Go on...What happened?"
Alvin
"Well," started Alvin, amused to find that someone actually wouldn't mind listening, "Since I had to caste several charms on all of the mechanical parts of the car so that it'd run without the control, or run at all for that matter--electronics don't work inside or around Hogwarts, too much magic in the air-- it formed a sort of invisible string between my wand, and the vehicle. Someone tripped on it."
Re: Alvin
"I'm afraid I don't understand how these books help you," Skilmer replied after a moment. "Unless they talk about how magic mixes with Muggles." He took another look at the towering pile of books on the spindly table. "You planning to read all of these by yourself?"

Re: Alvin
Skilmer picked up one of the books and, flipping through to find where it started, was on the dedication page when something on the bulletin caught his eye. He set the book down for a minute and warily eyed the paper labeled "Quiditch Results." "Hey, Alvin, c'mere," said Skilmer with a hint of excitement in his voice. "Look. I made Keeper..." he drew his finger down the list, "and you're Chaser! Wow," he added softly, "I didn't think I was good enough to make it in."
