Personal Bio :: Born on June 22 to Sean and Malory Matthews, Serena was the apple of her parents eye. Being their one and only child, they're watchful eye was always on her to insure that no harm came to her. Serena, with living in the suburbs, went to the right schools, and always had the right friends. All the perks of being a wealthy, privileged girl.
But what Serena didn't know, is that she was far more special than the friends she grew up with. That her parents, her whole family line from the time of the medieval times have been witches. In fear of their daughter and not wanting Serena to be raised in that way, they never told her about her special gifts. They even went as far as forbidding her grandmother, Samantha, from seeing her. That her living as a mortal is the best.
But fate had other plans for Serena. Slowly, dreams and visions would come to her. Vivid, horrible dreams that would leave her in cold sweats. She could go threw solid walls without trying. She could read people's thoughts. Very much scared, Serena went to her grandmother for some clarification.
Samantha sat her granddaughter down and told her everything, about being a witch and having very extraordinary powers. Serena was happy to finally know, but upset at her parents for not telling her. From that point on, Serena visited her grandmother frequently, without her parents permission.
Now seventeen, Serena is on a journey to better understand her powers and her family line.
